1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the DayLeft mobile application (the “App”) provided by Faruk Albayrak (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. The App
DayLeft is a personal daily-budget tool. You set an allowance, log expenses manually, and see how much you can spend today. Core budget and expense data is stored on your device. The App does not connect to your bank and does not import bank transactions.
3. No financial advice
The App is for personal organization only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, tax, investment, accounting, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your spending decisions. We do not guarantee any financial outcome.
4. Accounts and eligibility
The App does not require creating an account with us. You must be able to accept these Terms under the laws of your country (or have a parent/guardian’s consent where required). The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required where you live).
5. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Some features may require a paid subscription. If offered, free trials and subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store using StoreKit. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Prices and trial length are shown in the App / App Store at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Canceling stops future renewals; you typically retain access until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies: support.apple.com/billing.
We may use RevenueCat to help manage subscription entitlements (for example whether Pro is active). Apple processes the payment.
Optionally, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: Apple Standard EULA. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple’s Standard EULA for App Store distribution rules, Apple’s terms control for those App Store matters.
6. On-device data and your responsibilities
Budget settings, expenses, notes, and related preferences are stored locally on your device (including App Group storage used by widgets). You are responsible for protecting your device and for any data you enter. Deleting the App or using in-app delete controls removes local data, subject to your device backups.
Do not use the App for unlawful purposes or in a way that harms others or interferes with the App.
7. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the App may request notification permission. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings.
8. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Faruk Albayrak or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and App Store rules.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will meet your personal expectations in every situation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faruk Albayrak and its officers, directors, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App subscription in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, including on-device storage, Apple purchases, and RevenueCat entitlement checks.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App and cancel any subscription through Apple.
