Privacy Policy

Effective: 13 September 2026 · Applies to the WordAce iOS app and API operated by Velora Tech.

WordAce is a word game you play with friends. We collect only what we need to run matches, rankings, purchases, and support. The app has no ads and does not sell personal data.

1. Data we collect

• Account — display name, username, authentication identifiers (for example Sign in with Apple, including Hide My Email), preferred language, optional country.
• Gameplay — match state, moves, ratings, friends, and chat messages you send after unlocking chat.
• Support — feedback notes you send from Profile.
• Commerce — coin balance, cosmetic unlocks, StoreKit / RevenueCat transaction identifiers (no full card numbers).
• Device / push — push token and notification preferences so we can alert you when it is your turn.
• Diagnostics — server logs (IP, timestamps, error codes) and crash / usage events via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics.

2. How we use data

• Operate matches, leaderboards, friends, and rematches.
• Deliver turn and match notifications you enable.
• Process coin and cosmetic purchases and restore entitlements.
• Prevent cheating, spam, and unauthorized access.
• Respond to support and account-deletion requests.
• Find and fix crashes (Firebase Crashlytics) and understand which screens are used (Firebase Analytics). We do not use this for advertising.

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with processors needed to run the service:

• Railway — app API and database hosting.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchase, and push (APNs).
• RevenueCat — purchase verification and subscription status.
• Google Firebase — Analytics and Crashlytics.

We also share data when required by law.

4. Retention

Account and match history are kept while your account is active. In-app account deletion removes your profile and personal data immediately. Purchase audit rows may remain without your profile for fraud and accounting. Some security logs may remain where legally required.

5. Your choices

• Turn off game or chat notifications in Profile, or disable notifications in iOS Settings → WordAce. That does not delete existing chat threads.
• Request account deletion in the app or via account deletion.

6. Children

WordAce is not directed at children under 13. Chat is user-generated. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
