Terms of Use
By using WordAce you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The game
WordAce is a word game you play with friends: you build a word from your letters and one letter from that word goes to your opponent. Matches, ratings, and cosmetics are provided “as is.” We may update rules, dictionaries, and balance to keep play fair. The app is ad-free.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate profile information and keep credentials secure.
- One person should not operate multiple accounts to manipulate rating.
- We may suspend accounts that cheat, harass, spam, or abuse the API.
3. Fair play
Automated play in live ranked matches, exploiting bugs, or interfering with other players’ turns is prohibited. Virtual items (coins, cosmetics, hints) have no cash value outside the app and are non-transferable except as Apple’s refund rules require. Paid items do not change how words are scored.
4. Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled under Apple’s policies. Consumable coins spent on unlocks or hints are generally not restorable after use.
5. User content
Chat and display names must not include illegal, abusive, or infringing content. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content to operate the service.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velora Tech is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of WordAce. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for WordAce in the prior 3 months or (b) USD $20.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected with a new effective date on this page.
